36th Annual Gridiron...

Gridiron, the annual night of skits, songs and laughter, is the show that the American Press called "the 'Saturday Night Live' of Southwest Louisiana." It's a local tradition! The fund raiser pokes fun at local and state news makers and the media a through skits, songs, monologues and videos. Proceeds from the Gridiron benefit the Ad and Press Club Scholarship Foundations at McNeese State University and Sowela Technical Community College. This year's edition takes place Saturday, July 23, in the Lake Charles Civic Center Coliseum. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for a social and networking hour. During that time, guests will be able to dine at several serving stations that will feature heavy hors d'oeuvres and other specialties from local restaurants and vendors. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $60 each and include hors d'doeuvres and the show. A cash bar is available. Tables of eight (8) are available for $400. Tables receive reserved seating, so get some friends and coworkers together for a night out on the town! Deadline to buy tickets is Wednesday, July 20th.
